About one year ago me and Kahless worked on pictures for publication (link). The project has been on hiatus for several months and now it seems it's dead. Here are some more pictures that mainly I did:

Petrolacosaurus:

Lagerpeton:

Mesosuchus, a collab [sketch]:

sabre-toothed cats

After a long pause, I'm back with new stuff and hope that I won't have to abandon drawing again.
I moved to another city in October, don't know if it's temporary or permanent, time will tell. Those several months've made me a nervous wreck, but I'll get over it eventually:)

Anyway, new drawings:

I've got to practice mammal anatomy more. "Animal Anatomy For Artists" by E. Goldfinger is a great help!

Allosauroids

I'd like to draw the whole Allosauroidea superfamily like I drew Troodontidae once.
I'm not that good at large theropods (yet), so I did some sketches to get the gist of their general look.

1. Acrocanthosaurus; 2.,5. Allosaurus; 3. Saurophaganax; 4. Sinraptor; 6. Carcharodontosaurus; 7. Giganotosaurus; 8. Mapusaurus; 9. Yangchuanosaurus; 10. Australovenator; 11. Tyrannotitan; 12. Neovenator.
Everything was done in ArtRage. I used a lot of references, mainly photos of skeletons.

sea dragon & iguana

I painted this deep sea dragon for a contest held here - Elite-Dragon-Artists group @DeviantArt. The dragon was based on the viperfish. I wanted to paint this kind of animal for a long time and tried several times, but somehow it was never good enough.

The second picture was commissioned by v-e-r-a from dA. Painting  her iguana character was a lot of fun, even though I had many problems with choosing colours.
